That's the question behind Dick: The Man Who Is President, the new examination of the Cheney Bush presidency by journalist and media activist John Nichols. This Tuesday, Nichols comes to Seattle to discuss his book, the upcoming election and the media's role in shaping public political discourse in the US. Nichols is Washington correspondent for The Nation, co-founder of Free Press and author of several books on the media and presidential politics. The free event is Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 5.30pm, downstairs at Elliott Bay Books in Seattle's Pioneer Square.
