Register here to attend the Northwest Community Radio Summit in Seattle, Sept. 15-17, 2006,.

This conference is for community and college radio broadcasters in the Pacific northwest, and for anyone passionate about community radio in the Northwest. The conference's primary project is forming a network linking our stations in relationships of content-sharing, mentoring, collaborative production, and media democracy constituency-building. The conference will also feature grassroots radio skill-sharing workshops, a fantastic keynote event with Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman, and opportunities to meet and collaborate with fellow radio folks from across our region.

Some conference sessions will include decisionmaking sessions, at which it may be necessary for participating stations/independent programs to designate a single official representative (though all are welcome to participate in discussions). If you are attending as the official representative of your station, please let us know.

Conference events will take place at the Capitol Hill Arts Center (CHAC) and nearby venues. The Saturday keynote will be held at Seattle's Town Hall. At least one meal will be provided, others on your own at nearby restaurants/grocery coops.

Conference registration is priced at $50, to help cover costs of space rental, food etc. If this amount is a hardship, please register anyway and pay what you can--we want as many stations to participate as possible.
